The interpretation on this site has been used in a variety of ways. These include:

• To teach symbols in poetry & music
• Poetry - lyric analysis - discussion on history, music, religion, politics, coming of age
• MA Media Studies - semiological analysis of Chevy ad campaign that features word 'drove my chevy' - The site was used to understand the song & how it is interpreted by a U.S. audience
• Freedom of Speech seen through music & art - chosen song because of social & political references.
• Some teenagers miss the bigger picture. The site gives a play by play anaylsis for them to understand.
